About South King
30 years in wires. A decade in our own factory.
Our father started in the wire and cable trade more than 30 years ago. Sourcing material first, then job-working with established manufacturers, then building a steady customer base across the region. The business ran on two things: knowing the product cold and never letting a customer down on delivery.
By 2016, the job-work model had outgrown itself. We set up our own manufacturing plant at Kucharam in Medak District so we could control everything that left the floor – the copper purity, the insulation grade, the conductor finish, the spool tension. We also built our own PVC compound unit on the same site, so even the insulation material is mixed to our spec, not someone else’s.
Today we manufacture only under our own brand, or to customer specifications, branded as South King. We don’t job-work for anyone else. Every drum we ship carries our name and our reputation, supplied to Indian Railways, public-sector heavyweights, state electricity boards, and contractors across nine states.

What We Believe In
Range over excuses
If a customer needs a size or a core count, we should have it. That's the rule. 0.5 sq mm house wire, 1000 sq mm single-core power cable, 61-core control cable - whatever's in our range, in stock.
Speed is part of the product
Delays cost projects. Our production planning, inventory, and dispatch are all set up for fast turnaround. Quotes go out the same day. Stock orders go out the next.
Quality is a habit
Every batch is tested before it earns a drum. Conductor resistance, insulation thickness, flame behaviour, dielectric strength. That's not a department. It's how we were taught.

101% IACS copper conductivity
Our cables exceed the International Annealed Copper Standard. Lower resistance, lower voltage drop, 2–3% savings on the electricity bill over the life of the installation.
In-house PVC compound manufacturing
Most cable makers buy their PVC compound from outside. We make ours, blended for high dielectric strength and consistent insulation behaviour. It's why our cables test the same, batch after batch.
Supplied to PSUs and the Railways
Approved by state electricity boards across nine states and supplied to Indian Railways, BHEL, SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant, L&T, Godrej, and MES - the kind of customers who audit before they buy.
